Link to other pages within your website

Add links that help people to move around your site easily.

Note that all images below are taken from a standard Plone website - your website may have a different look, so the images are only a guide, they may not be exact.

You might want to let everyone know about a new service that you are offering, which you describe on the Networking Services page of your website. So you write about the new Networking Services on your Home page, but you want people to be able to quickly jump to that page to look at the details so you add a link.

1. Type the text that you want to use as a link, if not already present.

2. Highlight the word or words that you want to use as the link to the other page.

3. Click the link button in the header.

4. Find the page you want to link to in the dialog that appears. This is done in a similar way to finding the image, here.

5. Click Ok.

6. Click elsewhere on the page to see how it will look.

7. When all changes have been made, click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
